Site Update:
1. Added option in My Car page to sell murals to mobile users. (See below for more details)
2. Reduced 1 requirement for opening a shop.
You can now sell custom paint jobs and murals to mobile users. This feature can also be used to transfer your own murals to your mobile phone if you already own the app.
We have 3 options when selling murals which are:
1. One time sale up to 12,000 per mural.
2. 2 day sale with your mural available every 6 hours which will pay 20% per sale.
3. 1 week sale with your mural available every 6 hours which will pay 10% per sale.
The longer your custom paint job is on the more money your profile can make.
New Club Rules
Clubs will now need to pay $500 in dues a month or they will be set to inactive.
If a deposit is made during the month after it is marked as inactive the club will be reactivated
All clubs will be set to active until next month if they don't have $500 in cash on the 1st.
Clubs that are not active will not have their plaque displayed in game and will be marked as inactive.
New patch 3.04
This is a small update just to fix the bumper kits showing when you have molded or split bumpers.
The proper behavior would be that it does not show your bumper kit when you have a molded or split bumper.
I'm also preparing for an Android phone version to be release soon then an Iphone version right after. As soon as those are release I'll begin releasing new cars which will work on all 3 versions.
There are also more performance updates and new features coming to the web site version after the phone versions are released.

Cached some images and data to speed up loading.
Fixed bug that would cause the game to hang if you picked save in the hydraulics page without picking anything.

More Murals
I changed the templates for patterns on your cars and added templates for the Lincoln Town car and the Caddilac.
The template change will allow you to add murals to the entire car not just the side, trunk and hood. You can now add textures past the hood and trunk and actually hit the entire roof. Patterns can also go from the top to the side of the car if you do it right. Another thing you can do now is add text on both sides. The old way would come out backwards on one side of the car.

The max score has been increased. You can now pass 131,000.
New Champions System:
You must defend your championship atlease once every 14 days. If you do not defend your championship it will be stripped from you and given to the Winner of the next Championship Tournament. When a user does get stripped there will be a post automatically created to let everyone know about the new tournament.
New lowrider car auctions section. Sell your cars online to the highest bidder.
You can now create an auction to sell your cars online. You must have 2 or more cars to create an auction.

I added another section to the site that will allow you to earn 30,000 dollars in the game by just submitting an article.
On this new page you can view or submit your own how to tutorials to help other people on the site fix their rides and earn cash for the game. Every user is allowed to post an article and have it featured on the site if its approved. When you submit an article and it gets approved your account will automatically receive 30,000 that you can use on anything you want in the game. If you submit an article and cannot find a good category just leave section and category uncategorised and we will move it to the right section when we approve it.

The game is out!!!

Info about the update:

4. Maximum cash has been bumped up to $299,999.
5. Maximum bet amount has been bumped up to $5,000.
6. The amount that you win if you do not bet is now $500.
7. Car suspensions will be the same.
8. All tournaments will be cleared out a few days after the release.
9. Scrape Plates are broken right now, but they will be fixed with another update
10. Murals are no available in the new version. That will be added in another update.
11. I am working on better scenery for the game, but it will not be available in this release.
12. I tested the final version as much as I can and it has also been available at staging.thelowridergame.com for some time now, but I can't guarantee that it will be bug free. Like before the game is constantly updated and if any issues arise I'll be quick to fix them.
The Lowrider Car Game Version 2 Release Date
The game will be released on the main site Friday April 2nd. The site will be unavailable on Thursday April 2nd at 10:00PM PST during the upgrade. I expect the outage to last 10 - 20 minutes, but it can go past that if I run into any unexpected problems.

Lowrider Car Game Beta Update:
I added 2 options on the top right of the game
1. Enable/Disable textures (Murals)
2. A-Arm extension (Adjust how much you want the a arms extended)
I also enabled challenge monitoring in the game. This will automatically check if you have a new challenge and allow you to go to it directly without having to reset the game.

Fixed a bug that prevented users from creating lowrider tournaments.
You can have 3 active lowrider car tournaments at one time.

I am releasing a beta version of 8.6 which includes the pattern/mural feature. To access it you will need to access your car page which is also new. There is also a new Rival system, but that is also beta and will be reset when it's done. Currently only car model 1 can have a mural on it. To try it out follow the steps below:
1. Login and go to:

2. Click on Paint on the right side next to your cars.
3. Type in a url for your patterns and press submit.(The beta price is 12 dollars. The final price will be 12,000)
4. You can go back to this page to change the texture later at no charge for the model.

The textures are also visible in challenges if the other player is playing the beta version.

You can view other peoples car pages if you add ?user=USERNAME to the end of the mycars.php address.

You can join more tournaments now.
You can now be in more than 1 tournament, but you can only have 6 challenges at one time. You also can only be in 1 challenge for cars at one time so if the tournament is for cars it will not let you join.
The game now allows more then one challenge per player.
Changed the maximum amount of challenges to 6 at one time, but your can only be in one tournament challenge at one time.
I've gone through some of the scripts to make the saving and loading more reliable and faster.

You can challenge another club from a club page.
You can't kick a player in a tournament and the player can't leave a club during a tournament.
You can't delete a club during a tournament.
You can create a normal tournament from the tournament page.
Challenges don't start until both slots are filled.
The only prizes available for tournaments are cash prizes.(Provided by the tournament creator)
If a challenge is inactive for 48 hours the club presidents or tournament creator can force quit the challenge.
I will add the ability to delete a tournament ASAP.

It will only list the last 50 challenges until I figure out a way to break it up into pages. I also changed the active users panel on the right to only show the last 15 users only and I added it to most of the pages on the forum.

Now that the 5th model is done I will start repairing some of the other car models on the site. I will also be finishing the club tournament system and making some other smaller changes to the site.
